01Overview
Understanding the whole picture
Kidney and urinary concerns need careful assessment. Many patients come for support with recurring stones or infections, or for help with symptoms while living with chronic kidney disease.
Dr. Mahima's consultations always go alongside the right diagnostic tests and, where needed, care from a urologist or nephrologist.

04First visit
What to bring
Reports help make the most of your first consultation. If you don't have them, come anyway: we will advise which tests are useful.
- Ultrasound KUB
- Urine routine and culture
- Kidney function tests (creatinine, urea, eGFR)
- Previous stone analysis, if available
Important
When to see a specialist or seek urgent care
- Fever or chills with back or side pain: this needs urgent medical care
- Being unable to pass urine, or passing very little
- Blood in the urine
- Severe pain not settling with prescribed pain relief
- Urinary infection during pregnancy
- Chronic kidney disease: continue your nephrologist's treatment and dialysis plan
In an emergency, call 112 or go to the nearest hospital. Homeopathic consultations do not replace emergency or specialist care.
05Questions
Frequently asked
It depends on the size and position of the stone, which only imaging can show. Large or obstructing stones may need a urologist's procedure, and Dr. Mahima will refer you when that is the case.
